The department’s two Parish Nurses and Coordinator work directly with the congregations of area churches. The Parish Nurse is a health educator, a personal health counselor, a patient advocate, and a promoter of spiritual wellness. The Parish Nurse is also a valuable referral source for linking those in need with local community resources and health agencies.
